Anyone have any experience with these tires? Are they as soft as the A/T's?

they are not as soft as the ats... they are mainly marketed as a replacement oe for the subarus

its basically a semi aggressive street tire....

I was looking to put them on my X Sport 235/75/15, I am not looking to spend a fortune on tires but I need something that is better than the GY wrangler r/t.
Tire Rack has them for 66 each.

Unfortunately, just about anything is better than the stock tires. Goodyear has gone down hill regarding street tires. I have the 052's on my Mountaineer. I have yet to install my 051's on my Explorer. The ride isn't extremely soft, but my 98 wasn't soft riding before either. Good luck,
Don

Thanks for the info Im about to order them

happy with the tires?

I know this is an old post but are you happy with the geolandars? I am considering them for my 04xlt?

I have the 16's that I mentioned earlier, temperarily on my 98. The ride is better than the 60 series 18's that I finally wore out. The 18's lasted about 32,000 miles, which is the longest any tires have gone for me. Meaning that they won't last the 60k or whatever they brag about, unless you baby your car. I'm tough on parts, over 10,000 miles of that was delivering mail.

The 70 series 16's I think are fine tires, I can't say about snow or very cold temps yet. Good luck,
