Tomorrow is the test tow with the Van. I figure a quick 70 mile tow (to/from work) will let me know how things are going to go.

Nope.. no rub.. a good 2" or so.. The fenders are wider than the tires underneath. One did split some.. Its one I left more sidewall on. I may replace it, or just put a metal strap there. I have a couple more scrap tires lying around.

maybe you should look for some old trash cans...or maybe a old washer to use for fenders

I had to replace the batteries on the Superduty this weekend.. There went $160 out the door. Also still need to make rock sliders and fit the tow bar to the zuk.

Last, the zuk developed an electrical problem in the guages, that pegs them out.. So, I need to get that fixed too.

...We have hint of rain here today...They say we should get 2-4" of rain starting tomorrow late and they are expecting mudslides in the burn areas...

...10 day outlook calls for possible rain next wednesday... :dunno:

I chose the Costco 100 month warranty batteries for this. My truck had a hard time starting and even taking a jump after leaving the lights on for 20 minutes while testing my trailer lights and said enough is enough. Took my 20 month old batteries back and got a new set no questions asked. Gotta love the Costco customer service.

The Explorer is getting ready for a new battery soon

I want to go to duals this time, so hopefully it will last for awhile longer. Also I heard Optima arn't that great of batteries anymore, may go to a odyseey or something.

3-5" here, with wind gusts up to 60mph..

This storm is HUGE, and moving FAST.

Where exactly do we meet?

I understand if i went sat, basically meet where the explorers are :banghead:
