Folks I would like your input...... I bought my 02 xsport in Aug of last year and was completely thrilled with what I got. Was exact color and options that I wanted. I had it brought 250 miles from a different dealer than the one I purchased it from. I joined this board and have found so much useful info and tips from all of you and became very excited about all of the potential my new x has. But, some things have come about that have been very discouraging to me. In less than a year my truck has been back for warranty repair on the following items in no particular order: rear pinion seal, replace head unit, replace steering column bearings, bad vibration in braking, lower door moulding falling off, and lighting on cruise...

Hello all. I just picked this up about a week ago & am currently fixing minor problems with it. But as always I plan on doing some work. Right now it's all stock, down to the dirty air filter. But in really, really good shape. I dont plan on going crazy with it, just nice simple upgrades( dont we all just say that:) ) .Right now all I have done to it is a Clifford G4 alarm system & a simple system that suits my needs. Consisting of a pioneer hu, BA door speakers & a 8" bass tube in the back. I cant make it too loud because of my 2 year old son. But plans for it are as follows. First & foremost lowering kit. It will have about a 2" drop. 18" rims which i'm ordering next week after T-giving. Flowmaster muffler (still doing...
Hey all, been kinda lurkin on the site for a few months. It's sad to not see so much activity in the sport section :( Anywho, this is my 2002 x sport I bought in December with 35K miles on it for a great price. It's auto with no 4x4 and I absolutely love it. I have plans this summer to have the grey cladding painted and to add the mustang style scoop as well as install the new rims I purchased (waiting for winter to end here in Ohio). But for now she's bone stock aside from an aftermarket cd player with new rockford components all the way around. Specs: 2002 Explorer Sport Miles 37K Price Paid: 12,500 Summer Plans: *A Black Magic Clone* (lol j/k) Flowmaster 50 Series (in box waiting) MB Touring 20" Rims (in box...
