taking out head unit

anyone know how to safely remove the center trim so i can have access to remove my head unit?

That thing is on there... I kept thinking I was going to break it, but it does pop loose. I'd start at the top, pop it loose up there, and then do the botom

dud u just use a flathead to pop it out?

I used a small hook in the corner, to get it forward, then used my fingers the rest of the way. I was worried anything else could crease the dash, or otherwise ugly it up. Since my truck is new to me, and only has 12K miles, I wanted to be super careful.
