Cam Tensioner Fix - How Many Times?

FYI, my 99 SOHC, which just turned over 100k miles yesterday, has had the warranty thing done with the cam chain tensioner twice since the 23K mileage mark. The motor has seen only Mobil 1 since about the 25k mileage mark. Even with the warranty work, I have always had the same classic rattle noise upon startup, then it runs like a top. My understanding that this momentary startup rattle noise (about 1 second in duration) is not a major concern per statements from FORD. Do you guys agree with this? Are you other SOHC owners having the same, consistent startup noise? My thoughts are that if nothing bad has happened so far, the heck with it!

The repair for this problem has gone through a few updates and consequently some engines did need more than one repair. Was your last repair before or after the most recent TSB updates?
