Help with Harsh Reverse issue

I started my Explorer the other morning and put it in reverse to back out of the garage. All of a sudden I had a harsh pop and bounce like I ran over a curb. I stopped and then tried to back up again and it moved fine. A while later I was backing out again and it happened again. I want to have an idea of what might be wrong before I take it in.

Any ideas? My advance trac light is on but from reading I guess it just needs to be reset. Oh and my truck has $106k mileage if that makes a difference.

Probably just need to grease the slip yoke. Mine did the same until I greased it. Just do a search on here for slip yoke and you'll find a diy.
