What are my options for resetting the codes? i got a code 52..which happened when i was doing some electrical troubleshooting and had KOEO with one of the harnesses disconnected.

So far i heard the dealership will do it for a large fee...
I can cycle the ignition 250something times and it will reset on its own..
i can buy the $150 srs tool to reset the codes...

Im looking for a free option... its 97 sport. vin x.

Looks like you found the free fix...

Can't you just unplug the battery for 30 secs + and that'll reset it?

thats what i did and it hasnt come back on since.

i tried the battery unplug.. flicked the headlight switch on and had the batter unplugged for 15 min.. does it need to stay unplugged longer?
