no answer ?
can somebody please help me out

I just replaced mine with the Dayco from Rock Auto. I was not a fan of the greenish/blue one offered by Dorman. I am happy with my choice and you can not beat the shipping speed.

Thank you

I've used the Dorman on my V8, will use on my 4.0 in time.

+1 on the Dorman

I do not. I know Ford redesigned theirs (so some members have said) so if you get OE, it's imperative that you get new stock and not old stock.

here in Tokyo Japan
the dealer will not sell me the Harmonic Balancer
because I have supercharged my explorer
that's why I am thinking so hard

HEY no more good idea ?

The original Dorman number you posted is what I show for my '05.

There's a Ford dealer in Japan? Are you doing the work or the dealer?

Don't know why they wouldn't sell you one over the counter.

Yeh a lot of Ford dealers here in Japan
But Japan law is very difficult

Just get one for a 2008 Explorer 4.0 sohc v6 from a ford dealership, that way you will get the fully revised flat face one.

The dorman part number covers all of those years if you can't get a 2008 dealer part.
