A/C Compressor?

2014 Explorer 3.5L NA with 40k miles. For the past 3 months the area near the compressor would make a clunk noise at idle and the rpm would srop and go back up right away.
Fast forward now after a 4.5hr drove to 114 degree Lake Havasu, warm air only is blowing and the rpms drop and come back right away while I assume the compressor makes a clunk noise.
How much labor is involved in a new compressor?

Yes, but now its constant every 10 seconds ever since it started blowing warm air.

Thanks, yes there is. I bought a guage from O’Reilly and the level is perfect.

Also, i just took a look at the conpressor and it is leaking freon(green)
