We had a VIPER 5806V 2 way LED with a 1 mile range installed yesterday. We've had this same basic system before in a 1995 T-Bird we had. Seemed to be a dependable system.
The system comes with "2" fobs. 1 is a 2 way, and 1 is a 1 way. The 2 way fob can be charged through a USB cable. The other has a battery. A second 2 way fob was another $90.00. I couldn't justify an additional $90.00.
It can be programmed to do various things. but wife just wanted the basics.
I'd recommend this system if any one is looking.
