Hello all. I have a 98 for Explorer.
My headlights all of a sudden went out as I was driving.. Both of them at the same time.. The only way to keep them on is to hold back the passing lights (brights). They will not work if I try to lock them in the high position, only when I hold the brights on.

I have tried replacing them already and not sure on what to do now.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

~

It's a pretty common problem... it's an issue with the multifunction (turn signal) switch.

If you do a search, there should be instructions on exactly how to replace the MFS.

HTH.

Thank you for the Info BWilliams. I am going to look for it right now!.
