headlight switch wiring

Hi i was wonder if anyone know what the different colored wire are for/or go to.
I have one of those repair books but the wiring diagram sucks.

Also if anybody know what this is, their is an odd connection to the right of the headlight switch that seems to be glued onto the dash. here are some pictures.

the plug on the right side is for the parking sensors, if you had them it would be plugged into a switch. No idea on the headlight switch.
