I have a code issue (and it’s been 16 years since I posted, so help me lol)

I don’t talk much...... but occasionally I’m stumped and need some help.

1997 2.3L 5 speed

P0171 code.

i cleaned my maf, and did everything in this video. Please watch it and see if you can help me. I’m using a scanner and have a lot of good info in the vid. Rattled off and run around as fast as i could.

I put a new fuel sender and pump, and the metal solenoid at the charcoal canister on about 3 months before it threw this p0171 code I’m dealing with. That was to get rid of another code, which worked.

That code means the engine is running lean, check for vacuum leaks, also check the line to the metal solenoid on the charcoal canister, you might have cracked the line replacing the solenoid. I found some links when doing a google search on your problem.
