I need help with my Explorer pls

      1994 Ford Explorer 4x4
      Okay the front Driver's side locked up on me and i had someone help me out they adjusted the break pad and said it had something to do with my line,can you help me and tell me what it could possibly be that is causing my front driver's side to lock up i have a 1994 Ford Explorer 4x4 and the 4 wheel drive doesn't work so I know that's not my problem. thank you for your help.
