Replaced the evaporator on my 1991 XLT, Also suction and pressure lines. AC is blowing cold (Yay!). But now the truck won't shift out of second. I feel like I have to have bumped something loose. Probably a vacuum hose maybe electrical.

Thanks in advance!

George

there is a vacuum hose on the vacuum tree that goes to the Modulator Valve on the transmission check that maybe it is not connected to the vacuum tree on the upper intake. Also check your transmission fluid level.

Thanks TS0409. The hose had come loose at the modulator valve. I think is a little weak seeing how its original. I pushed it back on for now, out of hose at the moment, so I'll get some more next trip to town. Thanks again.

no problem glad you got fixed
