Hi can anybody help me with my problem I have a 1996 explorer and in the last two days some very bad problems my car wont go when its in auto or high 4x4 only in 4x4 low you can sit there and put in 1.2.3.4.5.r )gear and let the cluch out and it will not go any where the same with high. before two days a go ther has been a problem when you are out on the road and come to brake it will slip out of gear and sound likes it grineing and then when you put your foot on the gas it will go back in and drive ok .

Please can anybody tell me what the problem could be is it the gearbox or the transfer case ????????
