Problem with blend control
'96 XLT, problem when I change positions on the temp dial. When using MAX A/C, if I turn the temp control dial all the way to the left for cold, everything is fine. If I change positions on the dial, there is a point at which the cold changes completely to hot. (whump) There is no blending.
At this point, moving the dial all the way back to cold does not produce cold air. To make it cold again, I have to shut-off the A/C, turn dial all the way to the right, then all the way back to cold, followed by turning on the A/C. Then I have cold air.
Same thing for heater. The heat is always on, with no blending capabilities.
Thanks for the feedback.
