Theft Light On Dash Flashes

I just recently bought a Explorer 02 XLS, last night my theft light that flashes only when the vehicle is off started flashing non stop... Anybody heard of this b4?.... thx to all that reply...

Yes it flashes all the time. This way, when the hoodlums go looking to break in to a vehicle, they see the "magic flashing red light" and stop!
Seriously it means nothing. It's a stupid thing Ford did.

It just shows the theft system is working. Meaning that its looking for the chip in the key for it to start. No chip, light flashes fast, no start.
