      What do you guys think of valvoline maxlife for the explorer tranny's 5r55e or 5r55w? comments please.

      was told it was good as it complies with mercon v

      Never tried it, but I see it has a special additive (seal conditioner) for transmissions over 75K miles. I just use regular AAP Merc V.

      that is what I am debating, also read that with lubegard it turns it into mercon v, could that be true?
