Hello,
I recently swapped a 5.0l into my ranger. The 5.0 was from a 99 explorer and my ranger is also 99. Everything works except the A/C compressor will not turn on. I have little to no knowledge about A/C systems so I'm very confused. If I am correct, The clutch cycle switch is located on the accumulator (black canister) and this gives pressure information telling the compressor clutch to engage/disengage. I recently had a shop attempt to recharge my whole system (all freon was lost during swap) and they informed me that the compressor was not engaging. Any Ideas? Ive heard of Jumping the compressor, what is the procedure do so?

I'm also unsure about my wiring harness, considering some of is was hand done (I know the clutch cycle switch was rewired). Where do the wires from the Clutch cycle switch run to? A wiring diagram would be helpful if anyone has one, or at least some color codes and where they start and end.
-Thanks so much

Any Ideas, I hate to bump but I really would like some help
