New use for your glove compartment.

Got time today to do some work... I'm putting a CB, DVD player (not the drive shown in the pictures), and all the factory switches in my glove compartment. Along with whatever else I figure out to put in there. It will have a flat fiberglass face on it - as in only the actual buttons, the drive and the CB will be visible, nothing else about them. I'm going to put a switch to turn on the CB closer to the driver's seat, and run wires behind the dash so that the microphone will be closer to me.

I had to cut out a supporting bar behind the hinge so that there would be room for the wires. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Here is the HVAC controls relocated. The HU will be serveral inches lower then shown in the pictures.

forgot a pic:

I think I'm going to have to cut off the side of the drawer to move the dvd/cb over about 3/4" an inch so that I can put the latch for it back up.

Looks excellent, what's going in the dashboard to replace all that stuff??
