Hello everybody
I just got my new Volant intake on last week it was 213.52 shipped to my house in 3 days.....rather pleased. It sounds mean compareds to the VERY restrictive stock air box. My gas mileage has gone about about 2-3 mpg as far as i know but right now the message center is telling me it is the same because i love to get on it just to hear how well my engine can breathe now. No problems at all, overall i was very happy.

Well the next thing to go on is exaust. I am for surely going with a Flowmaster 50 series.....not sure on if i want Delta, or non delta flow, or the most likely choice at this point in time 50 SUV series. It will have to be dual in/ and now is where the questions come, do i want to run dual out or single out. ethier way dual or single the pipes are going to exit behind the tire. i know that i could fit single side turn out but i still need to find a local shop that will run the dual both side turn out......damn X why do you have be so tight.....but then again it is a 00' so most 6 year olds are tight....sorry about that talk lol. but back to being serious i would prefer to have the dual out with tips behind each tire, have you guys had any problems with that besides removing the spare. if you have some exaust pictures i would love to have them posted, post them even if you have a different setup then i am looking for....always open for new ideas.

P.S. i have searched this topic but some people may have new pictures since then so just please repost them.....thanks again fellow members

i had single out behind the tire for awhile and i didnt like it. i ended up getting it re done so that it exits in the stock location but with a 3" chrome slash cut tip. so all you see is the tip exiting like stock. i personally like that better. sorry no pics

Exhaust pics....sorry if there hard to see.

CAN I GET A MODERATOR OR SOMEONE TO RESIZE THAT PIC? I DID NOT MEAN TO POST IT THAT BIG. IT DOES IT AUTOMATICALLY.

thats a very clean sport you go there.//

Thank you very much

I would consider running a spintech over flowmaster..Ive always run flowmaster on my rides and i recently switched to spintech on both my 4.0 ranger and my 5.0 explorer and I am much more satisfied with both sound and performance.

I would vote against the flowmaster on a V6, especially a non-delta. I dont care what anyone says a flowmaster just doesnt sound all that great on a V6 period. I would look to a quieter exhaust like the Gibson. You cant tell you have an aftermarket exhaust till you open it up above 3,000 rpm. Then its not obnoxious or loud but a nice deep quiet sound. Every flowmaster Ive ever heard on a V6 (and thats a lot) has had some sort of noticible rhasp to it.
