ok lookin for pictures of someone who did the TT (longer bolts or not) and the SOA in the rear... was thinking of doin the spring over axle, with thte 100mm TT bolts... i fig, if its to tall in the rear i could always remove the longer shackle an replace it with the stock and possible remove the over load spring etc etc..

you wouldnt want an soa with only a tt. if you do a tt, do an add a leaf. and then do a body lift. but your truck will really rake if you do. The soa gives you 5" ish lift. The tt is only effective till 2". regardless of the other stuff you have.

yeah the SOA gives 6.5 to some especially since you have longer shackels....so do the TT then AAL or some F-150 leaves and then do a BL..........but here is were it gets interesting i read about someone who did a TT up front then SOA in the rear and then a sloped 3in BL so the body sat level.

www.jefethegreat.com.

Somewhere on there, or this site, he has pictures of a TT/SOA on 35s lift.

hehehe i have seen that....it was 3in of TT and cut fenders....look in his SAS thread i saw a pic of it in there.

now what exactly is that lift?? 35's 3in body lift and a SOA? is that longer shackle or stock? i wonder if i remove the over load spring and the 3, just leavein the main and the 2nd, wouldnt that lower the rear(soften) and possible give me alil more flex??

were is the best place to get an add a leaf for a 97 awd???
thanks guys

That's a SOA with just a TT. No BL. Looks like Warriors too.

alrigth thanks, now my next question is, i orderd baja fenders, 3in higher and 4in extended wouldnt that give the aprence that the truck is lifted/level?? even tho the roof line wouldnt be straght but........ looks like that thing needs a BL just my $.02 lol GO BIG OR GO HOME!! hahah

man your goin about this all wrong... why would you want rake, everyone that sees your ex that knows anything about a 4x4 is going to laugh. just stick to the body lift until you can afford the suspension lift and do it right. or just do an SAS and have all the lift you want.

rake im not lookin for a *** ride with the ass all in the air im only lookin for about 1-1.5in higher in the rear.. the local weldin shop who trained me how to weld has been doin custom one off lifts for a few years now and were in the devleopeing stage for mine... possible makein custom upper a-arms and lowerin the front 3 memebr cross member about 4in or so... still in R n D

It won't look level at all since the roof line and the bottom body line will still be raked. If you add glass fenders to that picture of Jefe's, it would look really, really bad. If you're only looking to get 1.5" higher in the back, the just get a shackle and an add-a-leaf. You don't want to crank your torsions all the way unless you want it to ride like a POS on the bumpstops.
