I've always liked that one, and have considered getting one made just like it. I think if you go with a tube bumper, or any aftermarket bumper for that matter, it should be in place of your bull bar, not in addition to it.
that rear bumper looks sweet. i like how you used the oem bumper to fill the gaps. looks REALLY good. almost like a factory option... except everyone knows that ford isnt that cool.
Well, at this point the bumper and grilles are off... I got the 7 prong harness to run additional lighting from the rear... I hooked up the reverse lights by toggle only - additional pair 55x2. Replacing lights; painting under carriage with high temp paint - shop will paint.
I use a mag mount, but I'm replacing the oem antenna with a stubby for FM (I don't listen to it, but eh)... Is there a reason this area couldn't be used for a cb antenna?
Thank you very much! CB - The cable will not be seen... tomoro I'll clean up the area. The front bumper will be installed on Monday/Tuesday. Diff company this time... The front and rear undercarriage will be blacked out with high-temp spray. I'm hoping the clearance in front will look right...
