3rd generation Bumper registry

It's funny...

i really gotta say i am amazed with the work you guys are puttin in on your newer 4doors, really nice suv's stock and to modify them takes some dedication. Props.

When I started tearing this one apart, people were asking why... I said it's therapy :D Now that it's coming along, people are asking where I got this or that part... and what's next.

It's a blast! Post away :) I was gonna ask what's under that front bar... where are the airbag sensors?

The antennas have been relocated... and I think a bad ground was draining the battery - I relocated one ground and no problems.
The airbag sensor is in the first pic, just near the top of the red circle (it's a small black flat rectangle - you can only just see the bottom of it.) the winch will clear that panel by 1/2", and there's a plastic cover still to go over that metal work near the radiator (as you probably know).

Sweet! So that bumper bar can be removed w/o interfering with the sensor, no? Nice grille insert :)

good **** guys
Scotty

Thats what you gotta do, people will see yours and then want to mod theirs and then an aftermarket will arise. finally.

ha! not here...

It's my neighbors :) They thought I'd lost it... now they're modding and buying new cars; I love it!

Here's that sensor...

Yep, that's correct.

What grille?!

That's the one.

I guess i gotta poke my nose around here more often. So i don't miss out on threads like this one.

Good work So far Donner keep it up!

There's a grille behind your grille...

Yep, that's correct.

What grille?!

There's not a mesh grille behind the main grille?

There's not a mesh grille behind the main grille?

Oh, that! Yes. It keeps the grasshoppers and locusts out of the radiator (seriously). I thought you meant the lower grille (that is no longer there!) - sorry, just my sarcastic nature - I'd say something like "Nice grille" when there obviously wasn't one there! :-).

Ha! :) As long as I'm not seeing things, it's aalll good! Today is an outside day, I'll check in later this afternoon - please post more pics, my ideas for the front end are meeting resistance.

Still waiting... but

Swapped... put a massive scratch on the left bottom corner

NICE!!, I was actually looking at replacing my 3.5" screen in dash dvd player with that exact pioneer deck... How do you like it? Good sound quality?

Ben

It's very loud... and easy to use. I'm working on finding all the features, but so far it's crystal clear and loud :) The best feature, IMO, is the blackout display while driving - you see nothing - you just hit "hide display" or close, and lights out....

Donner what Sterio is that i can see its a pioneer but which one is it?

It's too tiny to see - it's right under the usb. I know it's posted in a couple other links. FHP8000BT :)
