You'd think that but clearly haven't wheeled here in the midwest with these guys (myself included) It's possibly the hardest thing to setup. Even with people comming from across the country to wheel people still back out all the time from trips... Oh well

Possibly. I need to wash in X (inside and out) and see if i think it'll take some more abuse. I'll deff have to get into gear and do the brakes on it.

Ive looked on the cliffs website and they have a couple trails for stock cars and some for slightly modified. Ive got a 3in lift and 32 in tires so i can take so light abuse nothing to major.

Neways is the places of 355 a legal place to Off-road, cause im down for that!!!

The Cliffs is the only legal spot around here. Then you've got Attica 3hrs away and then Rockport near St. Louis.

chris, you would probably be alright doing the perimeter at the cliffs. there are some interesting spots to make it fun. the swamp part can get tricky. usually you have a choice between a hige mud hole or navigating some tight trees. if you go on a dry day, then you are golden.

O_O you went to a Heep?!

Actually there is a place off of 355 and 159th that is legal. Street was lined with guys unloading quads and dirtbikes as well as a few trucks. I was pulling out covered in mud as a cop drove drove by. Did nothing.

Yup, got me a heep! It seems to do alright as a DD so far, but 50-55 seems to be about the top speed. I've got a major vibration then too that I've gotta figure out. I'd be amazed if that place was legal. If it was, we certainly woulda known alot more about it by now. Just cause a cop didn't care... They may know who owns it and the owner just doesn't care to sign complaints... So there isn't alot they can do then. Oh well, I'm still up for checkin out the cliffs for an easy run if we can get a couple trucks together

btw i use too see a lifted 2nd gen driving around town and was wondering if that was any of you guys? i think the truck was a green sport.

By the time it's done, it'll be alot Ford driveline. It's got a 3/4 ton axle up front out of an f250 and a IH d44 rear. It'll be a year or 2 and it's going to get my 306 either my mustang T-5WC or a truck manual. That'll go to either a d20 with tera lows or an atlas. That is, unless I look to buy a place of my own in the next year. Then it's 4cyl for awhile and a doubler for me!

Oh and I'm making the Moab trip this year too!

Bronco was too much work to make street legal. I'm sick of having 3 trucks and want to get rid of the ranger. So I traded my bronco for the jeep with lots of parts and axles. Not to mention, I really had to shoe horn myself into the bronco. Surprisingly enough, I fit way better in the Jeep and am alot happier with it. I should pick up the jeep the 20th. Had pricing problems with the cost of the rebuilding the rear brakes of the IH d44 so it's getting disks!

Work on fixing the Bronco or fix the heep... either way... you were probably fed-up with it, that's all.
