This is probably the closest trail riding to me. Has anybody been?

Ok, I've been doing some research and I'm going to try to get something together to go to this park within the next couple months. This seems to be a place worth supporting and I have a friend who is very into MX and says it is a really cool place. He was unaware of the 4x4 trails, though.

Checking interest. I don't know when would be best for me, yet, but I can pretty much get any time off as necessary with a couple weeks notice. I'm probably going regardless and I'll just wheel with my brother-in-law in his JK, but I'd like to get some other X owners involved.

...Looks like they still have the 4x4 park and they've been adding more features..:biggthump

...You should contact Scott B. and see if he will bring his '06 Ranger out to play..:D

Just let me know when, Hugh. I'll be there.

Ha! I just realized I go through Union Town on the way to my Mom's house for Holidays!

That place is the bees knees guys , if you have a dirtbike or 4 wheeler as well as a trail rig Please go there its worth every penny you spend !!!!

January and February are pretty well booked for me unless it's a last minute decision with a day off (I'll still see if anyone else wants to go), but sometime after that should be able to work with a little planning.

There's a big event this weekend at Durhamtown. A lot of clubs are going and there has been talk on Pirate about this. I suggest anyone that can make it, to go. I have a friggen couples wedding shower. :banghead:

Basically, they need to have a good year to keep the trails open for us or it will go over to ATVs, UTVs and dirtbikes.

I'm still keeping an eye on my calendar and may be getting out there in mid-March, but it would probably be a middle of the week trip. If we start getting something solidly planned in the future and have enough advance notice, we can get a group of Explorers out there. I'm a bad planner, but I'm working on it. If anybody wants to help me get the ball rolling, please help.

Durhamtown is a great location in Georgia which is in bad need of parks like this. It's an easy weekend drive for most Georgians. There's a lot more to do, also.

My trucks home in VA getting the tranny fixed but I would definitely be willing to make a trip there when I get it back down to school. That place looks like it's fun for every kind of truck and even those without a truck.

Do the trails vary in difficulty? I would love to ride some easy trails. Mine is a 2wd so I couldnt do anything crazy.

I can't say for sure since I haven't been yet but my impression is that there is something for everyone. I am still planning on trying to set something up after April.

I might go some time over summer. I live in augusta so im not too far away, an hour or so. Im also pretty close to gulches, I might go there some time as well
