I have a fog light out on my truck. Can I replace the bulb or do I have to replace the whole assembly?

I also have fog lights out after trying to install my HID relay harness. I don't have lights even with the stock bulbs straight to the factory harness. I really need help with this. I have the green fog light on the headlight switch and I can hear the relay clicking when I turn on the fogs. I switched out realys too and same thing. I can't find any fuses other than number 16 in the engine bay. If somebody knows of anywhere else please help. I'm upset because I'm OCD. haha

well on the older explorers like my 96 the headlights have to be on for the fogs to come on.. i'm sure you know how it's supposed to work but i'm just covering all the basis. IF you know that the fuse isn't blown for the fogs and you hear the relay clicking then it has to be that the bulbs blew. I had a case once where both of my fog lights blew within a week of each other and I thought I had other BIG problems.. it was just a bad batch of bulbs

I can run my foglights with just my parking lights. I checked the bulbs and they're fine. I'm thinking it may be somewhere in the wiring.

there you go bud i need to get some new pics up but i'll wait till i start my SAS to get good ones

i would test to see if you have power down at the plug of your fog lights first. then you will know if you have an issue

I would note though that bulbs don't always appear to be bad when they aren't working. The pair that did this to me had no signs of being bad (glass intack, filament looked good, and no darkening of the glass), they just didn't work...

macknos94, nice truck! The grapplers look awesome! I have a set of the terra grapplers (I wanted them to last awhile and have ride comfort) they still perform great offroad

the grapplers ride pretty well they are just loud as hell.

i agree 100% that bulbs can look like new and still not be good. you can do a continuity test on the bulbs to make sure thats the issue

Yep, the Terra Grapplers are great tires, running 33's on mine. I opted for the Terra's over the Mud's because my truck is a daily driver, and I needed the sound levels to be down when I have the family in the truck, not to mention get good life out of them.

My Terra's do great in the sand, snow and mud.

Yeah thats what i hear about the mudders, the terra grappers are quieter than a pair of michelin LTX A/T's I had on before these, granted those michelins were load range C (capibable of 50 psi).. But so far I am very pleased with the nittos
