gray, red, beige and blue, no black in 1st gen

The 91-92's Sports had a lot more black trim pieces, which were all grey (or matching interior color) on the 93-94 models.

I'd suggest getting the factory black pieces from a Sport, since paint tends to only last a short while on interior plastic panels, then it all starts flaking off, which is a real hassle to clean up. You could always get replacement black carpet, have the headliner material replaced in black, have the vinyl and carpet on the doors replaced with black, and maybe even have the dash panel recovered in black vinyl. Getting the seats done custom either all black, or in a black/color mix to match the interior would be a good finishing touch.

The navajo was available with a black/grey interior with a blue pinstripe. most importantly the dash and console are black....so are the door panels but you can't use then on your 4 door. Find a navajo in the `yard and buy the dash and console.

Thanks guys.
deamon that looks sick i got my dash and door panels painted so far and i think im gunna go the hole way. I did gloss black by accident.. but it's turning out awsome actually once im completly done ill get pics up. If it starts to flake and all that i will replace it with black trim from the navajo like ya'll said.

I'm in the process right now. I'm about halfway done with the Ex interior, but I ran out of money for paint. I'm using the duplicolor low-gloss black. It's pretty *****in stuff and dries perfect. I plan on blacking the entire rig out, inside and out. I like the "murdered-out" look, its pretty sic. I am also doing my headliner in black and white paisley (bandanna print) so hopefully that will turn out pretty cool as well. I will try and get some pics on here tomorrow so you can see what's happening. Good luck with what you got going on and please post some pics as you go! I would love to see them!

Powder coated?
How do you get a shine like that?

dont think you can powder coat plastic.
its been painted several times then wet sanded with 600 then 1000 then 1500 grit. after that use some cutting polish and shine it up! then wax.

Yeah, that's why I was asking. lol
And the steering wheel? Same concept?

not too sure about that... paint + rubber = massive peeling and chipping. maybe it was bleached then died? or it may have been upholstered with red leather. (vynel)
