Been looking into getting a set of suspension seat. Ran across these and was wondering if anybody has used them or know anybody that has? Havent found much real world info on them online.

http://www.smittybilt.com/product/index/36.htm

I like the look of them, the reclining feature, and the price. But I know you get what you pat for so thats why I am asking.

Any other seats I should look into?

don't know much about their seats, but I have used quite a few Smittybilt products and have never had any problems with them. They look alot like the mastercraft seats though.
I know Corbeau makes a good suspension seat, and they are competitively priced. I'm looking at a set of their fixed backs for my X.

i have the Beard ultra pro's in my explorer and i love em. Very comfortable and lots of support. For a DD though i wouldnt get any sort or high sided bucket seat, they are a PITA to climb in and out of.

Decided I am going to go with a fixed back seat with low sides since there going in a dd.

Got it narrowed down to the Corbeau Baja JP or the PRP Daily Drivers. There around the same price range. Crobeaus are a little cheaper though.

I just have the 1 PRP Daily Driver +2" tall. Never did get around to replacing the passenger seat.

Mastercrafts are out of my price ranger. I can get a set of the PRP to my door for $520 so I am pretty certain I will get those. Going to get some when I get my taxes back.

I like how the center matches your tan interior. Wonder if they will have a blue to match my blue interior.

Have any pictures of how you mounted them to the stock seat tracks? Did you buy a set of just make adapters?

Dern, Id like to see the adapters to base mine off of. How did you make them just a piece of angle or what?

Yeah just some angle iron with a few extra tabs added onto it to get the spacing right. The seat tabs, at least in my case, needed to be mounted below the stock seat sliders. I will see if I can get a pic next time I have the camera out.
