Not bad, but if your keeping your truck in the long run I'd get the KGS grille

nice eddie u got there

Did you have the EB grill with the open slot on the bottom and the two slot on the outside of the top section?

Just not my cup of tea... I'm pretty happy with the one I got, I think it makes the front end look wider and a bit classier. Also, I like the fact the it is an oem grille... but now Ive made it unique.

I like your upgrade.

Look's sweet as:thumbsup::thumbsup:

2nd Exterior Modification! H13 HID's what a task to install! Resistors and all. Finally I will be able to see at night!

They are actually much whiter than this FYI, the iPhone just makes them looks yellowish red. Bright as an MFer

Looks nice. I need to get a new upper and lower grill for mine.

What resistors did you use and did you use for the high and low beams?

I used these 6 OHM resistors for the Hi Beams and the 3 OHM for the Lo Beams as recommended by the vleds tech support. Worked like a charm. I also mounded the resistors to these aluminum plates to help disperse the heat, because these things get HOT! All worked out great though.

Thx for responding. One more question. Did you mount the resistors before or after the ballasts?

I mounted the ballasts first, the resistors have about 20" or so of wire on each end so I had some length to work with. You just want to be sure to mount the resistors in a location that is clear of any wires or plastic so they dont melt anything... they get very hot.

Thanks for the resistor info, I did the HID install and am wearing out the reset button for the bulb out indicator!

Exterior mod #3, All tinted up!
I also bid on some OEM Explorer 20's this past weekend but sadly was out bid.... probably someone else from here...

No problem man, they are pretty easy to splice in. Let me know if you have any other questions.
