ARB locker huh? I'd love one, but those bad boys are pricey. Should make for some fun times

I was looking at the true trac but with shipping I was saving just under $300, I really like the way my X hold's on the road so I thought instead of going the auto locker I'd save for a bit longer and go selectable. A bit later I'd like to lock the front and that was going to have to be a selectable locker (same reason as above only more so) and I'll just have to get the locker then and plug it into the existing compressor (when I can afford that!)

But should be a lot of fun and with my flex (WHAT FLEX! exactly!) Worst case is I will only have a 2wd on the bumpy stuff and when I've got 3 and 4 wheels on the ground she should be pretty hard to stop and that will get me 99% of the places I want to go also out of a few places I didn't:D

Carry on mate:salute:

Aye Aye Sir.:D:thumbsup:

Yeah, I was looking at the tru trac lockers and the road manners, especially in the snow, turned me away from them. Now you need a lift and you will be set.

Yep a lift would be great and I have a crazy plan of putting on king springs 2" lift all round + a pair of 1.5" spacer's I got for free from a mate JCUZ + moog upper ball joint's.
I'm not sure how it will go but I live in hope!!! I'm expecting a bit of settle in the spring's so she should be right.

F***! Good point. Any suggestion's?

I've got enough room here mate, and that's about it I think:scratch: Custom bracket bent up should do it.

I would put it in the back...maybe on top of the frame rail or just inside the frame rail near where the spare goes.

I don't know if you have a 3rd row but if you don't there's also that great little compartment you could use back there in the cargo area.

Hopefully that area will work. If the coolant res gets in the way, I wonder if a different year / gen, would make more room? I'm not knowledgeable with your gen to know where would be a good place for it.

Thank's for those idea's guy's, I'm going to have to do some investigating :D:thumbsup:

Good God Lynchy- clean your f'n engine. Could you care just a little bit?

:D

Too late! Aargh, I've been sprung!! I promise to think about cleaning the engine over the next 25 and a half day's (because after that I'll probably go back to not caring!) :D:thumbsup:

Here's a quick mock up of the mudflap's on Uma. (dont tell her she's got mud flap's):D

I used the trusty grinder with a cutting disc to trim and garden secatuers to cut a 2" x 5" section out of the left flap (just sound's wrong) to clear the exhaust.

I was also tempted to get just the black style and put the mudflap girl on them but sanity prevailed, goddamn it.

Nice piece of work Lynchy. So what you're saying is Uma has mud flaps. How's that working out for you? :p:

I like Uma's meat drapes!

Thoses should work!
