That member no longer owns it, but iirc it was coil springs and 285 tires... That setup was temp while he waited for a body lift. I have a stock explorer with 265's and it goes further then when it was lifted... to each his own

Rims: dick cepek dc2's
Tires: dick cepek mud country's I think 285's

Not sure if he had 16" or 17" rims though

I like that look as well. I wonder how much he rubs when he turns?

I'd love to hear of some instances I am soon (when I can get uppers) plan to lift the typical two or so inches may try a 2.5/2maybe (1.75) perhaps should work good with uppers...

Rims are dc-1's because of the chrome center cap and the bolts around the outer edge. Tires are 285 75 16 Dick Cepek Mud Country's. I am currently running the exact same thing.

In that picture RB had longer coils. He said it rubbed alot and it was just temporary unitl he could get the body lift on. (as another poster said).

Lets see a pic? How much mileage did you lose running those tires? What suspension are you running?

No idea about the mileage. I currently average around 14.5 mpg (300-330 miles per tank depending on how I drive) and yes I re-calibrated the speedo.
