I already felt stupid for getting stuck... But to make things worse... I got pulled out bye a chevy truck :

You will soon be replacing wheel bearings, especially the back ones. They tend to go out even without abuse; but sand added to it, not a good combination

Could be worse.....you could have gotten pulled out by a Jeep.....

I think the WORST thing you could have gotten pulled out by, would be a Chevy Aveo, or a SMART car.....LOL

you probably didn't even have time to think of it, but if you air down to like 12psi, you should have made it. . .it those quick 'lets do this for a few minutes, it would be fun' that can take out your day.

Yeap thats exactly what happened. Didnt think of anything i just wanted to go out see the ocean then go back home... I think i was out there for over an hour trying to get unstuck.

its cool. A rear locker on any of them or LSD should have fared better. They didn't show a jeep quadra drive either, that things can 'walk' off a hoist or stands if one wheel is touching.

My Ex with AWD does come with open F/R diffs, it would have done the same thing, but my question is how often in normal driving does that happen? imo and Ex with the CommandTrac (switches on dash) and the LSD (tow package 3.73's) locked in part time would not have had a problem. I'll keep my AWD, not the best at everything but great most of the time.
