if you have an air compressor, a cutoff wheel will get the door to open nice and smooth. if not, a sawzall or a jigsaw with a metal blade will work.

It'll all work out, I'm getting 2 new mirrors for free, i dont think i'll even worry about the driver's side dent, i'm probably going to need new headlight or at the very least a couple new adjusters. I have to fix the passenger side dent so i can open the door again, hopefull i'll get that fixed tonight. And i'm going to take my HU out and test it on my powersupply and hopefully figure out what's up.

well on a positive note.
doug our explorers seem to be getting more and more alike we both have slamed fenders now and missing mirrors pro comp mts. maybe the broken mirror from hitting trees is a white explorer curse.

well my power mirror replacement cost like 125 new.
you can knock out the dent in the door pretty easily you just gotta pull off the inside door cover and stuff and pushing it out with you hands should do the trick. the front fender is gonna be more of a ***** I've tried to pop the dent out and it's not going any where. without some real body work or replacement which is probobly easier.

Well, I got to see the damage today in person...It's really not too bad-could be a lot worse! But then again, I have yet to see the havok Ben wreaked upon his poor X.

Dammit Fug, I'm gonna start buying stock in Explorer parts because of you, LOL. Ben, if you want me to hunt around for some headlights/corner lenses/whatever, shoot me a PM with a list of what you need and I can almost garauntee I can get ahold of it for absolutely zip.

HA, I can't wait to see what nightmare you guys get into at Mahwah next weekend- it's like an Explorer Reality show!

I'm going to work on hammering out the passenger side fender in a few minutes here hopefully it'll work out. thats for the offer justin but i'm going out to draper's this weekend to do the sliders so anything i dont have done i'll work on there.

Oh yeah one of the guys that helped us get unstuck had never seen a lifted explorer before and i'm pretty sure he had alot of respect for them by the end of the night. on a positive note, i straightened the passenger side fender so now i can get the door open again, i replaced my alternator and ordered a new wiring harness for my HU and hopefully that'll be all i need to get tunes back.
