Wind was so strong today that it blow the black trim piece off my hood, so pissed. If anyone else is driving around in the west today be careful. Make sure your damn piece is tight!

^That's some wind down there. The winds in northern Cal have been over 50 mph at higher elevations.

I assume that trim piece on hood can be ordered separately.

Hell no, it was on the freeway. Long gone. It probably got ran over about 157 times before I even figured out what came off the front. The very first second I thought it was a windshield wiper blade, cause I only saw it come up from the windshield. It happened so fast, just fast enough that I knew it was something long and black. But right away I could see that the wiper blades were still there. So at that point I thought for sure it was the bottom piece of my grille cause its cracked and theres a long strip about the same size as the hood piece thats somewhat dangling. (another story) So I pulled over as soon as I could and got out and looked. The grille was fine so I was like "ok wtf was that?" Then I looked up at the hood... Probably would have been better off if it was the grille, I can buy the whole thing for about the price of the ****ty hood piece..

And yes, those are my winter set

Its a surco urban rack thats been cut down to fit in between the roof rack rails.

I take that answer back actually. Its actually a Westin Sport Rack thats been cut down. The Surco looks almost the same though. Here's a pic of all the specs on that Explorer. It was an Explorer from the 05 SEMA show in Vegas.
