Please Help: Dented wheel hubs on '01 Sport 2wd? (pics)

Hello all
So I had the vehicle up in the air on jacks and stands and removed all the wheels in preparation to change the brakes and rotate the tires when I discovered something odd at the front wheel hubs--dents in the caps.

Driver's Side

Top and Bottom dents on Passenger's Side

I've never seen this before, am not familiar with wheel hub maintenance, and the Hayne's guide doesn't say anything about it so I'm stumped.

its just the grease caps over the wheel bearings, someone got a bit aggressive with the channel locks

Either got agrressive with channel locks or a screw driver and a hammer. If they stay on your fine, but they can be replaced for $10 or less.
