Photos Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Started my SOA this morning, ordering new 5/8" u-bolts from RuffStuff for the front and rear. I still need to re-route the brake lines on the driverside to the center and the e-brake cable down. I'll get pictures up sometime this week, my laptop has been dead for a while now so I'm using my very old desktop computer and iphone4 for posting.

Venomhatez, love the st, we need to start a page for jurassic park explorers.

Here is a link to the build thread for my lifted Trac. Little bit different than what you guys are building. Wish I could post pics directly but if I had any extra cash I would spend it on the truck.

I posted pictures of your build on here a couple pages back. I came across it looking for anyone using more than 1/2 ton axles for inspiration for my D60/70 build.

Glad to see you sharing here. You can post pictures directly for free using a photo sharing site like photobucket.

People on here have been waiting for me to start selling off the parts from my rig since I'm going SAS so I just listed my wheels and tires in the for sale section if anyone is interested.

I'm selling my set of "five" yes "5" 33x12.50x15 Goodyear Duratrac's mounted on 15x8 painted Camouflage Sand Cragar Soft 8 wheels, 5x4.5 bolt pattern and 4" backspacing.

Most people sale wheels and tires in a set of four, what about a matching spare, I have you covered.

They have just shy of 6k on them, tons of tread left. I'm doing a SAS (solid axle swap) on my rig and will be running 37x12.5x16.5 H1 military wheels and tires so I have no use for them.

They were originally black but everyone has black wheels so I painted them Cammo Sand.

I can either sell the wheels and tires separate or together, just let me know.

The price is $700 for all five wheels and tires. I would also be interested in a trade for a 220v, 175amp and up gas mig welder with or without bottle. I can put cash towards the welder if it's big enough and a complete setup with bottle and or cart.

Update, these are SOLD!!!

Guess I need to start a photo share account some where.

I went back and found the post and read the comments, I was interested to find out how wide it is, I didn't realize how small all the trails in the US are. It's only 6 inches wider than my old truck, wich was full bodied, and no rear steer, and it did fine. Guess I must be a really good driver.

I'll be following your build. Where are you from? The trails here in the Southeast can get tight for my truck. Haven't driven trails out west but they seem to have a lot more room to work with.

My narrow width 44 and 8.8 are sometimes too wide even for the long wheelbase of the Trac around here.

I live in northern California. Real Northern California. Not Chico or Sacramento, I live in Humboldt County and there is some good wheeling around here. Mostly old logging roads and such. Lot's of national forest too. Plus I plan on going to other places as well. I may not fit on every trail but I'm pretty sure I can find plenty of places to go wheeling. And while it's true I can't legally drive my truck on the road, I can't financially drive it on the road either, so no big deal. Price out 54" Boggers lately? I need to get as much out of them as possible and driving around on the street or highway is not gonna help.

Ha and to think I since looking for 35 or 37" load range E for my F350. I know some guys that run rockwells down here in the SE and they do just fine.

hey fellas, i havent had much opportunity to get out into the woods this summer, my mom became ill and i have been getting tested to become a kidney donor for her, so i havent had many photo ops this summer for my truck to post. but the forum is still keeping me in great spirits! keep posting pics everyone, and once i can get back on the trail, ill be posting new pics!

Truck pictures are insignificant against the health of family. Praying for y'all.

X2, Family always comes first man. Take care, we'll be praying for you and your family.

Lono our prayers go out to you and your family. I hope all goes well.

Yes for sure, just wanted to say that the forum definitely keeps me in good spirits with all the great pics. I feel like once I get to a point where I can get out and start working on the truck again, and gettin out on the trail, that will be when things will return to normal. Its been a hectic summer, my mom is doing good, hanging in there, and the doctors at UCSF medical center have been great. I feel very good about everything turning out well, and I can't wait to get out and go camping and wheeling again. What's taken a lot of time are all of the tests I've had to do to get cleared to donate. I'm done with all of that finally and now I'm just in wait mode. I hope to get out for the labor day weekend to get some fresh air and dirt on my tires.

Yes - it was not near as bad as anticipated --- the fall river reservoir was more crowed than chinn's or sherwin lake - but they made for a nice quick day-trip.
