Hey all. I ordered new leaf springs from a company called Michigan truck springs.
They have 2 options on springs one @ $130.00
And another @ $ 80.00 both have same dimensions other than the $80.00 lead having a 1.7” lower arc that the other but also has a load capacity of 1250lbs as opposed to the $130.00 one that has an 1100 lb load. I’m not to worried about the lower arc due to me already having warrior shackles in the back that lifts her ass up a lil any way. Any ways just thought I’d toss it up here for those who want/need new leafs but don’t want to get held up at the checkout line or gamble on a junk yard set.
Shipping was 40 bux from Michigan to NY and I got them in 3 days. I’m putting them in this week so I’ll update.

Thank you I will be following this thread closely as I need new springs.

So did you get the lower arch or higher arch? And how does it compare to the stock springs?

Did the new springs come with bushings? What about new bolts?

Hey all. Sorry bout the late response. Been busy working. Any ways, I installed the springs. perfect fit. No hassles with installing them. I picked up new grade 8 bolts & u bolts for the job. As far as the questions. The leaf springs came with bushings already installed. I picked up the set with the lower arch for 2 reasons. 1- cheaper. 80bux each brand new. 2- has a more load capacity (1250lbs). Truck sits and rides nice and both rear sides are level with the rear at a slight rake. The springs are new and will settle down I’m guessing 1/4 inch. So the total cost for the springs with shipping was 200 bucks. I got the new bolts and U bolts from rock auto they had the best prices and carry out size U bolts. I thought about doing a scrap yard swap but didn’t want to gamble on getting a warped set so for a couple of extra bucks, I’m very pleased with Michigan Truck’s product.
Yes.. I have to trim the U bolts.. but 2 cold and 2 lazy

Lower arch. Sits a lil higher because they are new but should settle in a few weeks. Both rear sides level and the ride is great

New bushings are installed from the company. I got new bolts and U bolts from rock auto. Best price and they carry our size rear U bolts

I found good set on eBay for a great deal and free shipping. I remember this being one of the most rewarding jobs to complete because the improvement in the ride was massive. My leafs were frowning so a new set did wonders. Plus the truck looks so much better when she's not sagging.

Cool, I did that a couple of years ago.

I got my springs from SD Springs.

I used 1 ton springs for a Ranger, the Ranger springs have the same dimensions as the Ex/Mounties.

I got the lift I was after and no more lean.

Like you my cost was around $200.

I don't understand why more guys don't get new instead of trying to Band-Aid with JY for about half the price.

Good job and good luck.

Looks good! You may want to re-torque your u-bolts after a couple of weeks of settling.

Did you buy larger diameter u-bolts? It almost looks like it, but it could be an optical illusion.

Thanks. Yeah I kno some ppl like to or have to budget hunt due to finances, which is fine.. I thought about it myself but I didn’t want to gamble with a bad junk yard set. Plus I have been hitting it hard with overtime the past 2 months so I just went with all brand new parts. It is my winter truck and I try my best to Keep her as top notch as I can

They are the exact same size. I think they look biggger because they are new and clean. I checked the bolts this morning and all is good. I’ll re check them next week just to play it safe.
