First off everyone is okay. My son's truck is totaled. My son turned left in front of the Tundra that hit him in the back side. Spoke with insurance and am working out the details. I think I will just let it go to the insurance company if I can get just a little more out of them. Once I pulled the bed off I could see the frame is bent about 5 inches so it would be expensive to repair and could have other issues like the rear end.

That's too bad. Looks like it was a nice truck Glad everyone's okay.

As you've already got the bed off and the damage exposed, I might consider taking it to a frame shop to see if they think it can be straightened if the truck was otherwise okay before the accident. You know what you had and whether it would be worth buying it back from the insurance company rather than starting over with another used vehicle.

With the frame bent as bad as it is I have decided to let insurance have it. The rear end took a lick and it looks bent, springs and hangers are wacked. It could be to much to put back together and I am worried about hidden issues.
