Nothin to it, but to do it.

Hey sorry I had some serious life changes and haven't had time for the explorer since last November. I think I blew the clutch a couple months back and it's been sitting. My drift car has been in my garage for months getting a trans swap but I'm almost done with that (literally just need to bolt the exhaust up, but lack of time). After the BMW (drift) is done, explorer is coming in.

2019 plans
1. Clutch
2. Get another RF tire
3. Get the tubing off my garage floor and make a half ass support bar.
4. Off-road rally

So now that I know she runs... It was time to start the destruction process

Step one...put the kid to work

Step 2 measure...very roughly

Step 3 dbap (don't be a p***y) just go for it. Who cares it was $395

Next step was to put all the inside trim in, windows back on and make it look like it was supposed to be that way, sort of.

I debated leaving the trim how it was and when the roll bar goes in just heat up the trim around it but it looked too much like the roof was still there. So that got the axe

Here's how she sits for the night

Oh ya. The stock headlights we're useless in the dark so I added a 40 or 42" lightbar to the front also. Works like a champ and I think I got it for $50 on Amazon

The Pictures are not showing anymore. :-(

Could have a place that makes canvas boat covers make a snap-on topper for the back.. Rivet the snaps right into the body.. That is if you needed one.. like lived in a state that rains..

Just thinking out loud..

That is an awesome idea. :-) I am gonna have to look into that.

I'm back. I went through a move and a divorce. Gave the explorer to a shop to use as a shop vehicle. I just got word they set it out to be towed. It's been side swiped a couple times and the light bar has been relocated to a Honda or some other crap car. I'm reviving her and 2021 is going to be the year of the exploder. Tomorrow I'm having it towed to my old shop and I'll post updates here
