Removed running boards.
Don't like the look of em and cause rust issues.

Okay...but now, you have an unfinished look along the rockers. Can't argue that they promote rust, though.
 






Been pondering on that.
Cut em and build a slider.
Just leave it and deal with it.
Maybe there's a trim hole plug or i could make something.

OMG I have the same truck. Separated at birth.

My rockers are pretty much all rusted out. Lucky I have the EB trim, not running boards.

I am slowly formulating a decent plan for building mine. This forum is full of great info
 






They made a trim that clips on along the bottom edge where the boards go, if you had a base model without the boards, but I've never known if it was any benefit whatsoever rust wise versus the running boards.
 






Think right now I'm just going to deal.
Sliders are planned. Will cut rocker out since they're rusted. Basically cut along top of holes. Sliders will be up higher and rust gone.
