I had gotten some hid light for the X but then I started getting this lights on so I took them off & disconnect the battery & stepped on the brake to drain out power but the lights still go on when I press on the brake then they go way but sometimes it stays on the on when I’m on the highway. Did I just mess something up

so what im getting: you disconnected the battery, but the lights still stay on WHILE it is disconnected? i am bewildered. or is it that when you reconnect it they go back on? if so, can you scan for codes/

No so every time I would step on the brake both lights will go on. If I step on the brake pretty hard the lights stay on until I come to a stop then they disappear but it does it every time

low brake fluid just barely abover trigger level ........... can't atm think of why the ABS dash lamp would do the same.
You right about the brake warning light trigger level.

The reason why the ABS light turns on when the low brake fluid warning light turns on is because the heat generated within the brake fluid during ABS activity gets heated up very quickly and reaches its boiling point sooner. To prevent this boiling effect from happening during low fluid situations, the ABS is temporarily disabled.

low brake fluid just barely abover trigger level in reservoir can cause dash brake light to go on and off when braking. can't atm think of why the ABS dash lamp would do the same.
Good morning man brake fluid is fine it started happening when I installed those cheap hid turn signals

I also had installed some hid reverse lights before I installed the turn signals & I didn’t have the this problem. I was thinking of maybe disconnecting the brake model & reconnect it

will say sometimes these lights can cause some weird things got LEDs in the turns, and reverses, once in a while flick the turn stalk it triggers the auto lock and locks the doors. so its possible they could be related. just never figured out exactly why it does that, since its not a big deal.

my 92 doesn’t have power doors just that nice roll down window

Have links to the lights that are currently installed? What lamps do you have as brake lamps?

I got some that didn’t have my model truck or I think any ford but I assume it would work since is the same bulb but just hid.

Those are LED not HID. If these are what you have as your rear Brake&turn bulbs, swapping just those back to incandescent and monitoring the dash lamps seems the wise first troubleshooting step.

This is an M50D? And those are solid green? Having only A4LD experience, can't offer definitive answer, but may be a neutral safetey switch:

Yes & yes

probably low brake fluid and ABS light comes on cause of the heat from the brakes, as previously said.

Sometimes LED bulbs will cause weird issues especially if installed In the brake lamp or turnsignal circuit. Normal hallogen bulbs have a decent amount of resistance but LEDs have close to none, this causes issues for the brake lamp switch which communicates between both pcm and abs module because it's calibrated towards a much higher resistance then what the LEDs have and it almost acts like an open causing all kinds of issues. Your flasher likely will not work due to the low resistance so installing a ballast or large resister is important and bumps the resistance back where it should be. it can cause all kinds of wacky issues.
