It's Chief here, Aka: Tim. I started with this pitifull excuse of a motor called a V6 and even more of a dissapointment This POS A4LD tranny! This will all be a nightmare that ended real soon

SAT 3-08
-Clean Garage
-Dissasemble roof rack.
-Lower tire air preasure to an un-measurable number!
This was the key!
-Its in and barely fits!!

Did I say BARELY?.... Oh yeah I did. ok.

SUN 3-09
-1:00 p.m. Take before pics
-Got sidetracked for 1 hour
-3:00 p.m. The whole front clip is off and bolts are bagged and tagged. (TT: 1 HR)

Sun 3-09
-Back in the garage it goes to remove tranny and
T- case.

-Ate lunch

-4:50p.m. Front and rear driveshafts are out. T-case is
out.
-5:20p.m. Exaust is out
-5:32 p.m. Header conversion tubes are out.

That was it for Sunday.

MON 3-10
-6:24 p.m. Time to take out tranny. BY MY SELF!
-7.39 p.m. getting things ready....
Stopping for dinner....
-8:10 p.m. Back at it....

This should be interesting.....

After some negotiating and tender sweet talk, in her ear the tranny is out at 9:30 p.m.

TT to remove tranny by myself .... 2.5 hours.

TUESDAY 3-11
-4:30 p.m. Remove air cleaner
-4:36 p.m. Air cleaner and box are out.
-5:20 p.m. Radiator and Electric fan are out!
-5:39 p.m. Air conditioning system dis-charged into
atmosphere A/c Condensor is out.
-7:12 p.m. *Ac hose is off engine.
*Fuel lines are disconnected
*Vaccum lines are disconnected
*P.S. Pump disconnected and drained
*Motor mounts unbolted
*** Engine is completely off life support and ready to be plucked..... Tomorrow

-6:15 p.m. Time to unload "Cherry picker"

-Engine is up..up..and........

-7:06 p.m. *Evaporator /Fan blower housing is out.
*Wires are tagged
*Nults and bolts are tagged and bagged
-7:18 p.m. Windshield washer fluid/Coolant overflow
tank is outand drained.
-7:33 p.m. Cruise control is out and lines are tagged,
bolts are bagged.

So this is it as of now. I am buying the engine and tranny next weekend. I will keep yall posted on the instalation and wiring. And of course the Test run so stay tuned!!
