You DO NOT need to remove the fan to do a radiator swap. The hardest part will be the removal of the hoses and lines. Some WD-40 inside the lip of the hose will help. When you put the new rad in spray the inlet and out let with WD-40 the hoses will slide right on. It is a messy job but...

I think you should leave them off but it is my personal opinion. I like the clean look. You can buy new pin stripe at any automotive store and with a little skill and a sharp eye, do it your self. Otherwise call a few body shops. Most of them have a pretty good stock of pinstripe.

Well the 12 good 18 better 24 best really is how steep of a cut. What that means for every octive beyond 5k Hz it will reduce the out put signal by 12 ( 18, 24 what ever ) dB. One just gets the signal out of the picture quicker than the other. 24 obviously being the fastest cut.
