No A$$! T/c?
For what he described, it's normal. From a stop going uphill in 2wd or 4hi will take some throttle to get things moving. I doubt you'll gain anything from a different converter to make it worth it either.- FROADER

Check this thing out. I've seen it around a few times. It's local, and my friend took these pics for me. Tires are 37s, it's got coilovers and Baja Shop did the work for the guy.- FROADER

Auto-up window possible?
It's been talked about here, was never a write up on it. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170101 Check the link in post #9. It looks like it's for an Audi, but worth a look.- FROADER

You're right, it would show less. It would still be wrong so the mileage isn't actually better.- FROADER

It's your photo not mine. :) That looks pretty good. I'd follow the curve of the fender more, but I get you're idea.- FROADER

Hi, Need some input on a paint job! For someone new.
Wow, glad you woke up eh? You came to the right place! There are a few people that have the black headlights, and seem to be happy with them. Search around the site for any question you may have, and I'll bet you'll find the answer. Welcome to the site! Your plans sound good. ;)- FROADER

What about if bolted to the bottom hole there? That's at least 2" lower. carlover - do you mean relocating the upper or lower mount?- FROADER

I have the Superlift bolt ons and beat the crap out of mine. They won't come loose any more than they would without the kit. You could bolt the shocks to the sway bar wholes.- FROADER

wow! highway mileage rules!
Bigger tires will effect it negatively. The reason it shows more mileage is because the speedometer is incorrect. It shows more miles than actually traveled, as well as less mph than you're actually going.- FROADER

No A$$! T/c?
If you're trying to climb in 2wd or 4hi, what you're getting is normal. The 4.56 gears with your 35s are just like the stock ratio. Good thing you didn't go with the 4.10s like you were going to eh? I doubt it's the trans filter, with what you're describing. Use 4lo for climbing.- FROADER
