interesting lift news
I would go 4.56 with 33s. You'll still be able to roll 70-80mph without the RPMs getting too high. I had my old one that way until I got 35s. Now with the 35s, I wish I was geared lower.- FROADER

Here's a good write up on how to recover it. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164801 IMO, this would be better than one of those other repair kit jobs. Good luck!- FROADER

Those will work good. The stock back spacing is 4.5" so they will stick out .5" compared to what you have right now.- FROADER

tuff country kits?
I had the Trail Master 4" on my old X, and it held up really well for what I put it through. The only problem with it, is the passenger side bracket. It needs to be clearanced or it will punch a hole in the diff. I've heard the Rough Country springs are pretty stiff. Other than that, I've heard...- FROADER

Lifeguard's sas.
Why not get the 250 towers? oh, and my advice with the top plates in this picture is to cut off the old shock tabs. They dented my shocks under flex. Just a precautionary measure so it doesn't happen to you.- FROADER

Hello Everyone EH!!
Hey hoser, welcome to the site ehh? :D 4-linked fronts that I can think of off the top of my head are Rick, FAKRWEE and Hammer. I'm sure there are a lot more too. McNeil's have 3 linked rears, but there aren't many 4 linked rear explorers around. There is one being built right now, but no...- FROADER

FROADER's "Re-registry"
It's better now. It was really just caked on dirt, but some of the finish is actually bubbling up as you can see on the left side of the first pic. Don't make no nevermind to me though! :D And, I took this while I was outside cleaning it. Thought it looked pretty cool.- FROADER
