FROADER's 1991 - Edward Bauer III
I just realized I haven't updated this thread for a while. Here is what's going on with it as of now. The rough running issue was a bad coil pack, and was replaced. It didn't pass smog because the catalytic converter was hollowed out. That was replaced and it passed smog, but now has an...- FROADER

I reserved me a Bronco!
I'm late to this thread, but wow, Ray Hutchinson is back! Dana Point Fire Captain (retired), correct? Loren Healy will have a kit to fit 40s on the bronco by the time it comes out. He took his 4dr Badlands Sasquatch Bronco to EJS and it was impressive in stock form. His "Fun-Haver" Ranger as...- FROADER

I heard ~31s, a rear locker and a good driver (line choices) would work on that trail. If that's true, you've got plenty to run it.- FROADER

Love my AT3s on the van. When the tires of the 91 explorer wear out, that’s what will go on there, too. I also had them on the 2010 Explorer and they worked great for daily driving and my trips to the snow in the local mountains or Mammoth.- FROADER

MAF cleaned with no change. Got some fuel stabilizer in it and after I smog it (this week) I’ll get some 91 octane in there to mix it up.- FROADER

I'll probably be keeping 33s on this one. Maybe go up to the 12.5 instead of the 10.5, but we'll see when the time comes for new tires. Thanks. I originally planned to convert it to 4x4, but a locker and 33s will do enough to where I want to take a van. then I have this Explorer to actually go...- FROADER

That's the plan. I thought I had some brakleen but couldn't find it. I'll get some tomorrow and see if that will help. There may still be some bad vacuum lines, too. I connected alI could find, but with the age of the rig, some of them could be dried and cracked.- FROADER

Very happy to have another rig to share the experiences with the family. I'm glad to hear that. I was thinking (if it's alright with you and your dad) of getting a small memorial sticker for her and putting in on there somewhere. Thanks Jamie. I'm back... I just can't resist white lifted 90s Fords, so here is my fourth white 1st Gen. I really won't be doing too much to this thing, besides a few personal touches here and there. I bought it to use it. It was running a little rough, so I gave it a tune up. What I've done so far...- FROADER

1960 Dodge Dart Seneca Project
That happened to me in my '63 Galaxie on the 405 freeway! I was pushing so hard and not stopping I figured I was going to crash, but on one final push is ended up braking and locked up the tires. Bkennedy's SAS and Rebuild Thread
The explorer I just sold had a vibe I was tracking down. it ended up being a lot of things. I started with the u-joints, but it ended up being those, pinion bearing, axles bearings, and gears that were all real bad. Fingers crossed the rest of what you're feeling IS the tires.- FROADER
