i hust got the heads on and i've only ran it for a little bit, but i think they leak joining into the y-pipe. and i might have some plastic against it too since it smells like plastic burning. i had to pull the heads off to change the gasket. i thought hey cool, throw some headers on too...- R.J.

i have headmans. i haven't driven the car with them on yet. but putting them on was the biggest pain in the ass i've ever had! now that they're on, i don't think they're sealing very good- R.J.

the block is just extra metal. it doesn't need to be square. it just need the right size bolt hole. everything around the bolt hole is just excess metal. in the pics from therangerstation the hole and the inside looks the same, just has less metal around the outside on the ruber one. but i...- R.J.

start with the simlest possible problem and work up from there. if it doesn't go into 4wd high, check the easiest things first. fuse, electrical connections, hit the shift motor with a hammer (like you would a starter). shift motor is a common problem. i had had a problem that my truck...- R.J.

4" lift springs with add-a-leaf?
got it together today. just a simple replace of the same springs, but brand new. gave me about another 2 inches of drop travel and rasied the back end up a bit. i assume the springs will settle in and sag down maybe an inch. old springs and new springs and i found out i actually did...- R.J.

i think i saw a van with 10" lift blocks in the front one time, it was pretty cool. those coil buckets remind me of the ones on the guys truck at truckhaven, what was his name? with the white explorer that the coil buckets broke on.- R.J.

we had stock springs and add a leaf about a year ago when the navajo was little. it rode fine on and off road. alot better than stock, or maybe it was the james duff shocks that helped out alot, im not sure. but it flexed ok with aal. but that was with the 2 dorr springs, not 4 door. so there...- R.J.

i have no clue what happened to the oil cap hahah. it muct be around somewhere, i took it off to paint te valve covers. you know what, i think its in my shed. and i checked my p/s fluid today, it was empty. so that might help to fill it up. took all the hoses off to replace them today, they...- R.J.

about a year. but they had flat spots on them when we put them on, and they're really old. they came with the superlift kit back when they the old style drop brackets- R.J.

well we ordered some superlift springs. they'll work as long as they work. its the easiest for right now and we don't have to much time before t/h. maybe the s/l springs will last until izwack can come and help build a 4 link :D- R.J.
