Tips to remove passenger side Motor Mount?
Well anyone got any? Stared at it for a while and could not get my hand/arm to squeeze in there the right way to get a wrench or socket up in there. I am thinking I might have to remove the suspension bracket there in the way but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Searched many times and...- rpenner54

Running rough in Wichita
Well thanks for all the help guys. My dad has a guy that he trusts and has had work done there before and will just take it there. I was trying to do the help from 600 miles away thing and I probably should've just called him first. :) Will let everyone know how it turns out.- rpenner54

Running rough in Wichita
Well at least it's got a stick. I am thinking it's something on the top of the motor to do with air-intake. I just hate being this far away. It will probably go to a shop and I will just have to pay. She gets worried about these things so I thought I would see who was close by.- rpenner54

Running rough in Wichita
Hey all KS folks. Is there anyone around the Wichita area that could help out my daughter. She is staying at my folks's house and has run into a rough running problem with her '95 Ford Explorer. I replaced the o2 sensors before she lft but was not able to do any more. If anyone has a ODBI...- rpenner54

Some body work done yesterday.
Yeah I am not sure why they used that fix other then maybe it was cheap and easy. It also just helped more water and muck get into that area because it was not a real sealer. The fix will be up-coming once I get some metal on my hands.- rpenner54

EF "Regular" Moab Trip
Well if we don't run this year it just gives me more time to save up and get my rig up so it can run some of the harder stuff next time around. I would still love to go but would rather there be a decent group number in it.- rpenner54

Some body work done yesterday.
This Explorer when I bought it had the rot in front of the rear wheels like most others. It was covered up with some aluminum sheeting and riveted in. I couldn't stand seeing the big rust spot there so I took it all out. Eventually this whole side with get a boat sided effect done to it but...- rpenner54

14 year old shot while wheelin' with his dad

We are there! My kid wants us to take her to Moab for Graduation, she will be driving her own Explorer when we are out there. I will check with Maranda to see what dates she was checking out. Yeah I was not sure if it was that or a NP series like my '99 F250 has. I need to get an engine stand and get everything separated cleaned up and then ready to put in.- rpenner54

The Transfercase needed to be replaced so I got this.
I am not sure which transfercase it is yet, I have not found the markings on it. However the motor seems to have a 5.8L and the tranny seems to be a C6. It's all going to need to get in the Explorer. It all came out of a 1993 F250. I am missing the upper intake, I need to see if I missed it...- rpenner54

1960 Dodge Dart Seneca Project
Go for the '03 and up common rail so that you could get some clean burn times then when its time to go...... The only thing you would have to watch is routing the exhaust out the right way. Anymore the tracks want stacks or something to keep the smoke out of the sensors.- rpenner54

What do people do?!?!?
Well it was warm enough today to get that carpet somewhat clean. I set it up on two saw horses and just sprayed it with cleaner and scrubbed and scrubbed. Then I sprayed it out with the hose it was just pouring out brown. I got it as much as I could and now it's going back in Sunday if it...- rpenner54

Yeah the green one I have it was worse then this one. It was owned by a smoker who just thought the whole thing was an ash tray. My work F350 is a 2001 and it's been smoked in since new. I cleaned the headliner with some zep window cleaner and when I was doing it you could see brown...- rpenner54

Hit the 300k
I bought this one with 180k on the clock around 5 years ago. Working construction it's a nice truck to have. With all my gear I still average around 16-17mpg in town with a easy pedal. Plus this one is a stick so it gets a bit better mpg.- rpenner54

What do people do?!?!?
It was pulled to pull the carpet out. The seats were just as bad. I got both seats out now. I pulled the carpet, and took it to the car wash and sprayed it out. It needs more cleaning but it got to cold last night and froze all up again... Saturday I plan to clean out the rest of it.- rpenner54
